Tides and Currents

Tides and currents swept me from familiar shores. A celestial body beckoned (an attraction greater than mere mortal will) and bore me to the depths, the secrets and the truths, of the cold ocean blue.

I thought I stood on firmament, but found it was only sand. I swore I’d charted a bold course...until tides and currents carried me to foreign seas...and all the mysteries of the deep.

Stable, steadfast rocks are often underneath the sand...but sometimes one must dig for them and put forth effort to find them.

I'm sure that if decide you want that sparkly rock enough, just as it is, you'll find it.

And in the meantime..the ocean is a good, healing place- sometimes murky, sometimes clear, always holding you.

Be well, Jonas...keep breathing and you'll be fine.

Thank you, Selma. Thank you.

Breathe I will, Gillette, as breathe I must...hoping all the while everything will end up fine.

Yes, Ms. Chatelaine, the mysteries of the deep are the province of neither women nor men exclusively...just human souls...

Sand has a rare beauty. I love the way it shifts and ripples with the tide and with the very breaths of desert air.

But then I would say that. Wouldn't I.

Of course you would! And I would be mightily disappointed if you didn't.
