Heavenly
Plains Milky Way from Randy Halverson on Vimeo.
This video transports me to a good place. I hope it carries you there, too.
I've been thinking about "day-blind" stars lately. It comforts me, somehow, to know they are ever present, even when the day's glare overwhelms. Come the night, come peace...beauty becomes manifest.

Wow, that is beautiful. I went and looked at the web site, and all of the timelapse films are amazing. Thanks for sharing it.
The stars are amazing. But maybe because I've always lived by either mountains or ocean, there is something about those barren plains that make the video seem post-apocalyptic to me.
Beauty like that always makes me cry. And it makes me hopeful too that there is a magical compobent to life. Heavenly, muystical, ethereal, joyful. Thank you, Jonas.
Sorry, I can't spell today - D'OH.
There's something ethereal about time-lapse photography, isn't there? In case you've never seen it, Patti, I highly recommend the IMAX film Chronos.
Consider this prairie son a post-apocalyptic kinda guy.
It's that "day-blind" star-thing, Selma. I draw great comfort in knowing that the Milky Way is ever present, even when I cannot see it.
