Nice, Jonas. I went to YouTube and listened to several. I liked the one on the video your posted the best. On some of them, the lyrics seem a little forced so they'll rhyme.
Oh Jonas. Another glorious gift. I unwrapped it slowly. The ribbon of sound, the paper of lyric, and then just sat with them both in my lap.
For anyone else who would like them: ♫ Another Day slips away and i get this feeling that nothing has changed but these years keep coming like waves they wash over me day after day i just watch them rolling by standing here beneath the sky
and i cant hold the hands of time they will move like they will move but i can hold your hand in mine give my time and give my heart its all that i can do
another night is flying by somebody's born, somebody dies i wanna look deep in your eyes i wanna live and i want to cry
and i cant hold the hands of time they will move like they will move but i can hold your hand in mine give my time and give my heart its all that i can do
i'll just watch it rolling by here with you beneath the sky
and i cant hold the hands of time they will move like they will move but i can hold your hand in mine give my time and give my heart its all that i can do
Oh, take my time Take my heart Cuz they belong to you It's all that I can do♫
I "discovered" Tyrone Wells just days ago. I was watching an old rerun of "Rescue Me" and heard this song in the background. I had to find the song/singer. Turns out Tyrone Wells has been around for a number of years and has a rather ardent following (understandably). His lyrics and his voice simply get to me.
For those interested in hearing more, here are my favorites:
Let Go - hits a bit too close to home...I take it in small doses.
Hey Jon! Dropped by the blog and appreciate the new music referral. Been listening to Tyrone this morning on Spotify. Good stuff. And here are a few artists for you to check out - or not - from my heavy rotation list:
The Civil Wars Matt Pond Gotye My Brightest Diamond Feist (New CD)
Brother Chris! So glad you dropped by. Glad to know that Tyrone appeals to you too. Other than Feist, your suggestions are unknowns to me. I'll check them out 'cuz, ya know, your recommendations are almost always spot on.
I'm not pedaling at all nowadays. I got a pinched nerve problem that isn't going away. Keeping my fingers crossed.
