Thanksgiving
I invariably find myself in a reflective mood every Thanksgiving.
I’ve offered a few of my holiday musings over the course of the past few years (grateful, too, for any and all who stop by to share...if only for a little while).
I find my mind drifting much farther afield this year. Witness:
(view in "full-screen" mode, volume cranked to "11")
Ah, what a long, strange and utterly miraculous trip it’s been! And I, this most improbable concatenation of stardust, infinity and song, revel in awe.
Am I grateful?
Beyond all words.

When you put it like, it is truly amazing:)
Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
What an awesome way to express gratitude, Jonas. Wish I was down there eating some turkey, too. Have a wonderful one!

Fantastic video! So right up my alley... Thank you, Jonas. And Happy Thanksgiving to you. xoxo
Thank you for sharing that wonderful video. Gratitude may be part of what propels us onward, even if Life is an accidental blessing.
What a phenomenal video, Jonas. Absolutely fascinating.
I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.
Ah, Dear Hearts! I'm delighted you enjoyed the video as much as I did.
As for my Thanksgiving? It was quite the experience! I had volunteered to work at a local soup kitchen. While I must say, in all honesty, I would have preferred to spend the day as I once did with family, methinks this was an exquisite alternative.
I am truly grateful for all the blessings that have rained on me for oh, so many, years.
Paying it forward certainly has its charms.
Totally cosmic, glorious, awe-inspiring video. It is humbling to be a part of it all. How lucky we are!
It probably says something about my personality that after about a minute I had to skip ahead to the end.
When I am reviewing, as I often do, I always find that I have much to be grateful for.
Selma - It's all a matter of perspective, I guess. I do believe (in a cosmic sense) that all creation/life is a miracle.
Lithuanians are wont to say:
"Visokiu yra, visokiu reikia" (We have all kinds, we need all kinds).
Lithuanians aren't any brighter than any other people. I'm fascinated that practically all societies have almost identical sayings. So go ahead, Secret Agent Woman, be different! It's OK.
