Brief Note

My friends...just in case you've been wondering if I've disappeared...
I have not. I have, however, moved. I still do not have a phone or Internet service at Casa Jonas. In the fullness of time (soon), I will reconnect with the world. In the meantime, I wish you all peace and happiness (I hate to think that your "clicks" here have been wasted...sigh).

Oh you've moved!! Gosh it's so draining to pack up everything and move.

Good luck getting everything organized :)

Thank you, Ob!

It's...well...challenging to live in the Valley of the Boxes.

thanks for the concern regarding our concern! :-)

I'm in the middle of moving as well--and I'm trying to unpack as well as paint before I get too unpacked and settled. The whole moving process can be challenging...but refreshing to have a change of color everywhere.

I, for one, hope you don't get lost in an avalanche of boxes. Our Dear Mr. Jonas....please do be careful as they can be so tricksy.

And, may I add my harem voice (wink, wink) to the excitement for your move and new life!!:

I Bless you and your new abode with the prayer that it be filled with love, joy, lots of good times with close friends both new and old, great sex, great food, sparkles, amazing music, the sounds of you drumming the night away, adventures, lots of poetry readings and writings, laughter, sillies, with beauty and art surrounding your every day.

Your life is going to get really, really good-happy-happy now. I can feel it. And I've just discovered I'm tele-pathetic so you know it's true.

Thank you, Dear Hearts, for all of your kind and supportive comments! You've sent a shiver of pleasure and contentment through this aching body of mine with your warm words. I type this from my new abode. The last few weeks have been quite an adventure, and the thrills won't end for quite some time. I've got SO much work to do that the days simply flow from one into the next without respite. I won't bore you with the details, preferring to write about matters of the heart. I promise to do just that (once I find the box that has my heart and brain...and cooking utensils...)

I can't wait to read what you write next! (I think I'm finally into Y2007! :)..)

Your post reminded me of when I moved in here a few months ago. For the first two weeks I was completely without furniture or any of my personal belongings (other than clothes, toiletries, and my coffee maker! LOL)

You know what, Jonas? I've actually missed those days at time. It was like a monestary in a way (in a good way!). Something about the empty spaces, the quiet, that was remarkable.

Hope you're doing well!

Moving is so stressful, I don't envy you!

Ah, Grace, I admire your resolve. You've managed to survive the tale of the past years of my life. It's a pity you didn't sprinkle a comment here or there (sigh).

Yes, Charmed, moving has been stressful. Some stresses I anticipated, many I had not.

It's all, OK, though. Stresses notwithstanding, it's the start of a new chapter in my life. Oh, there's still an epilogue to be written for the last chapter, and I've no doubt it shall be, but that's OK, too. What fills me with hope and good cheer is the fact that I have a chance to live a life that is meaningful to me, and I do not intend to squander the opportunity.

Ohhh shoot! Believe me, I could have commented on EVERY post but I thought, "This poor guy...he'll come back to find reams of writing from me and be on overload!"

hum...I may have to go back to those that were particularly powerful to me and comment away!
