No probs, My Tempest. I'll just cue up "Migra" by Santana (yeppers, it's on my playlist). Squirrels...well..they can pretty much dance to anything (and there's a lesson THERE for all of us, I suppose).
The Madison, the line dance one did after imbibing one "slow gin fizz" too many. The line dance one did late, late, LATE at night, when the soul is yearning, the summer's heat is burning, and the women are all wearing short skirts...
No probs, Ponita. Just find yerself a good ol' roadhouse. Have an outlaw or sumsuch (all dressed in black) buy you a "sloe/slow gin fizz"...(or five), sashay to the jukebox. Toss in a handful of quarters, cue up any song with a "Madison" beat. Sway the hips and walk the walk.
Sorry, Ponita. You live like, what, a thousand miles north of the Arctic Circle? Outlaws rarely venture that far north ('cuz leather jackets aren't all that warm. dontcha know).
I NEVER could figure out why so many men shy away from dancing. Oh, the nights I've spent dancing with the most incredible women!
Now? Well, I'm a member of the "Aleve" generation. If I twist and thrust, I'm sure to spend the next day in the emergency room...
Ah, Jonas... I'm thrilled that I made you laugh... and even more so at the studly feelings. Those are always lovely to elicit in someone...
Take some Aleve first, hon, and then meet me on the dance floor. We'll take it slow and easy. Because if we get carried away, I will be on the stretcher next to you in the ER the next day. ;-)
Love the beat of that song... and I am only an angel when I wish to be...
I've been cruising through your playlist down below, Jonas. Very eclectic mix of songs. Some I am very familar with and some new to me... I'm enjoying them! Thanks.
After the bastard blizzard that spoiled all my fun this weekend, I needed this. I love silly dancing squirrls. I think I dated the one in the second row, to the right.
The "Mashed Potato" Selma!?! I bow to you as a most revered peer.
By the by, my sister could do "The Pony" better than any living being. I'm serious.
No need to feel ashamed, Anna. No need for that at all. I rather enjoyed the Disco Daze. My friends and I spent most Friday and Saturday nights dancing...somewhere. Ah, the vitality of youth!
I'm glad so many of you found this post/video amusing! Peals of laughter are ALWAYS a good thing.

Those bad boys are sporting pretty awesome six pack abs!!
Great vid, Jonas... Spring is even kinda in the air up here... things are warming up slowly and the trees have buds already.
So, you noticed the 6-pack abs, eh?
Sigh...says the "fluffy" Lithuanian...
i prefer when the squirrels break out in some salsa or even quick step than the pop-inspired line dance. sorry.

They can dance to anything... cuz they don't care what they look like! They know how to kick back and have fun!
Just as we all should.... right?
Right, Ponita! You are absolutely correct.
Except...squirrels doin' the polka...ummm...I dunno...just doesn't work for me, knowwaddamean?
How 'bout the Jive? ;-)
I'd get a tickle if they all lined up to do the "Madison".
I'm old skool...
Okay, now I have to google the Madison... I have no idea what that is... And you're not much older than I am.
Very laid back for a line dance... I think the squirrels should be doin' the Boot Scootin' Boogie to a little B&D!
Omigod, Ponita!!! You Philistine!!!

Guess I have missed out on that experience... I don't even know was a slow gin fizz is....
There is a little country streak in this city girl. :-)

Yeah. The Madison.
It's a religious experience.
You wanna be that outlaw? I have a feeling it may be difficult to find someone up here who knows the Madison.
I do love to dance, though... it's been much too long since I did that with a man... well, that and other things. ;-)

Sigh.
Well, if I am ever in your end of the universe, I will try and coax you out on the dance floor.
Perhaps I will show up in a black leather jacket and short skirt and draw you onto the floor to show me the steps...
I ain't so spry anymore either, so we could just have a languid float around the dance floor... how would that sound?
Ponita! You made me laugh...out loud! I'm feeling flattered..studly, even.
A black leather jacket and a short skirt can work true magic. Seriously.
Then, again, is sitting in a waiting room adjacent to a hospital emergency room truly worth it?
Go ahead, cue up "I'm No Angel" on my playlist. It kinda fits and kinda doesn't (anymore).

Lawdy, lawdy, momma! I got me a BAD case of the "vapors".
Exercise caution, woman! I'm hangin' on by a thread...
I tend to throw caution to the wind, Jonas...
But now I am off to bed as it is almost 0230 and my bed is calling my name...
Hang on to that thread, hon... I'll be back. :-)
Is it getting hot in here or is it just me? Seems like spring really is in the air. Oh, and I like it when the squirrels do the 'Mashed Potato.'
Should I be ashamed to admit I love disco?
And now I'm off to google The Madison and see if I can get in on some of this action Ponita is getting. ;)
Harbingers of funk! My kids will love this. Thanks, Jonas.
To funny.
LMAO @ waiting room!
Dance like no one is looking and then rub their furry little tummies!
Big Grin!!
ha ha ha ha ha ha! roflmao, delight, trip delight fantastico!

Bring on spring Motha nature!

Do the squirrels do the Mashed Potato too?
Perhaps they know the Madison...
I am back !!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!
only took a year to remeber my password etc....
A great post again Jonas.
Beautiful spring beginning here in Korea. Blossoms and such gorgeous magnolias.
