Isn’t it true, for most, that what pleases most is when another truly desires to know?
To know what intrigues, scares, humors, hurts, enchants, disgusts, inspires, disappoints, excites and defines the heart and soul?
Do we not all thirst for intimacy?

I think so, Jonas. And I think too it is a curiosity sparked of the self, not necessarily leading toward intimacy, but a deep desire to know how it is that we are to live this life. Voyeurs, Jonas. We're a wack of voyeurs.

Yes. But also an acceptance. This is me, warts and all and it's okay that I'm imperfect, that I'm loved regardless. Sigh, if only:)
Perhaps one day.
I can't speak for everyone. But for myself, a rousing AMEN! My thoughts exactly. My actions...not so much. Working on it.
Oh, yes.
Curiosity -> interest -> acceptance -> appreciation -> delight.

The Future is not ours to know but, yes, one day someday, Lilith.
We're ALL works in progress, Annie.
It's that "familiarity breeds content" thing, Patti.
Good to know secret agents got my back.
I really agree with Lilith's comment. To accept us as we are, to 'get' us as we are - that is what it's all about.
I am in love with that photo. Could it be any cuter??
Yes. It makes me feel validated. It makes me feel like my existence is worthwhile.
Jonas, you do the most appropriate and evocative photos --- love this one!
The need to be needed?
