I've been drinking large cups of resentment these past couple of months. I know poisoning I'm myself but, there's always a but, I find myself unable to let go of my anger right now. It will pass, it's mixed with grief right now and I know it will pass.
It's never the other person that dies...
Although I've got truckloads of character flaws, holding grudges and resentment aren't included. I came across this Carrie Fisher quote and it rang true.
Someone spoke that exact same quote to me a few short weeks ago. Hmmm.
