I can't tell if you'll be disappointed or not, Yvonne.
Chickenfoot is a band comprised of Joe Satriani ("shredder" extraordinaire), Sammy Hagar on vocals and Michael Anthony on bass (both exiles from Van Halen). Sitting on the drum throne is Chad Smith (from the Red Hot Chili Peppers).
These dudes ain't subtle. But that's the way it is with me...there are times when I don't want subtle or soothing. There are nights when I want my ears to bleed. Nights when I want the screams of guitars blasted from Marshall stacks cranked to "11".
I'm going to have to listen via another way. Played through this computer the mix is way off. I can barely hear the words. But the tune has an arrow. As you've said, it found you.
I've had my own ear bleeding nights. It is a good blood letting, an exorcism, a suicide, a pheonix. Music. Ahhhhh. Without it...I just don't know.
One would think that after falling so often, one would learn to watch where they're going or, at least, put their hands out so they don't fall flat on their face. One would think.
You're right, Annie! I was listening to this song on Spotify. Didn't really notice that this video amped Satriani's guitar at the expense of the total mix. Regardless, the song resonates within me. Ain't sayin' it's art for everyone, but it's medicine for me.
Glad you found it to your liking, Selma. You're not just "good people" you're a kindred spirit, too.
Hello, Anna!!! I'm delighted you dropped by! It's been a while. I hope you and the twins are doing well. And...NO!...your nose is not pudgy.

Hi Jonas,
I like it when something hits me there, but I'll have to wait till my hubcap wakes up to listen. I know it'll be good.

I wonder if that's why my nose is pudgy.
